Estrella Galicia partners with NME Magazine for NME X Estrella Galicia Lock-In concert series

We’re proud to announce that Estrella Galicia has entered into a year-long partnership with weekly music magazine NME to launch an experiential music campaign dubbed NME x Estrella Galicia Lock-In.

Launching in May 2017, the collaboration will include a series of live music gigs and will take place in NME’s newly refurbished basement bar in Time Inc’s Blue Fin Building. These music events will showcase the best emerging talent breaking into the music scene keeping in line with both NME’s and Estrella Galicia’s dedications to the emerging music culture.

Estrella Galicia and NME will work together to champion up and coming artists by showcasing their talents to a crowd of 250 guests. NME is the ideal partner for this endeavour as the music publication has always been at the forefront of music discovery, acting as a voice for cultural change.

UK Brand Manager Lindsay Castling of Estrella Galicia expanded, “We are thrilled to be working with such an established and credible music partner. NME is a perfect fit for our brand as we grow in the UK market and we are excited to be able to bring the fans something really special in the NME basement whilst enjoying an Estrella Galicia!”

NME has also built a dedicated ticket platform on its website, ensuring that access to the Lock-Ins is available to all. Additionally, as part of the partnership, Estrella Galicia will be the official beer supplier for the NME’s basement bar.

The NME x Estrella Galicia Lock in series will kick off June 9th with Bang Bang Romeo and Pretty Vicious. Bang Bang Romeo are a Sheffield-based group of brilliant, larger-than life musicians with an explosive female vocal lead. Their sound has its roots in classic rock n’ roll, yet modern and exciting and their music is already causing a stir across the industry.

Pretty Vicious’s meteoric rise started with a simple upload on Soundcloud, which landed them a major deal at Virgin EMI Records. Their adrenaline-shot sound has opened for the likes of Noel Gallagher, Johnny Marr and the Manic Street Preachers. This amazing band with their catchy melodies, intertwined with searing guitars and hard-hitting bass is sure not to disappoint.
